About SEU@NLC
Where academic excellence and church community come together.
Letter form Pastors
Matt & Sarah
Over two decades ago, God placed a dream and vision in our hearts to lead people to become fully engaged followers of Jesus. From that vision, God birthed Next Level Church, and over the years, we have seen thousands of people encounter Jesus and have their lives transformed. Out of that same calling and passion, God has now allowed us to birth SEU@NLC right here in Southwest Florida with a deep desire to see the next generation step into all He has for them.
SEU@NLC exists to educate, equip, and empower future leaders to live with both health and high impact. Here, you won’t just learn about ministry, you’ll get to actively be a part of it, gaining real, hands-on experience while also getting an accredited degree.
More than a traditional college experience, SEU@NLC is a place where students can discover and step fully into their calling. Our prayer is that this program becomes a launching pad for your purpose, a place where God shapes your gifts and a community where you grow spiritually and personally.
If you feel the stirring for full time ministry, SEU@NLC is the place to be!
We are honored to walk alongside you on this journey and can’t wait to see how God will use you to impact His kingdom! We love you and are cheering you on.
With expectation,
Pastors Matt & Sarah

Vision
The vision of Next Level Church is to lead people to become fully engaged followers of Jesus. We seek to lead lost people to become found, found people to become free, and free people to become empowered to make a Kingdom impact.
Mision
The mission of Southeastern University at Next Level Church (SEU@NLC) is to educate, equip and empower future leaders in healthy and high impact ministry.
Values
Our “Big 10” are the Cultural Values of SEU@NLC.
1
We Pursue God Above All
Matthew 22:37-38 NIV
Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
This is the first and greatest commandment.
- We rest in our identity as sons and daughters of God, knowing what we do flows out of who we are in Christ.
- We seek God first through our commitment to daily spiritual disciplines.
2
We Lead Ourselves First
1 Corinthians 11:1 NIV
Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
- We accept the responsibility and take ownership of our personal growth and development.
- We recognize that we cannot lead people where we have not led ourselves.
3
We Humbly Follow
Hebrews 13:17 NIV
Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.
- We honor the authority God has placed in our lives publicly and privately.
- We remain open to being pastored and led, asking for and accepting help when needed.
4
We Embrace the Process
Philippians 1:6 NLT
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
- We trust God with our future, the timing and fulfillment of our calling, and the development of our character.
- We trust that our leaders have our best interest in mind.
5
We Value Learning
Proverbs 9:9 NIV
Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.
- We prioritize and steward our academics as a privilege, not an obligation.
- We embrace the posture of a student, recognizing we can learn from anyone or anything, anywhere, at any time.
6
We Are Servant Leaders
Matthew 20:26 NLT
But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant…
- We steward our gifts, talents, and influence to serve others above ourselves.
- “Here to serve” is the posture we embrace in our thoughts, language, and actions.
7
We Are a Family on Mission
Romans 12:4-5 NIV
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
- We champion diversity as we accept and value every individual for their unique strengths and contributions.
- We foster an environment where everyone can flourish in the gifts God has given them.
8
We Choose to Forgive and Love Others Deeply
Romans 12:18 NIV
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
- We commit to pursuing and sharing the truth in love, even when it is hard.
- We believe the best in others, choose to forgive quickly, and seek reconciliation whenever possible.
9
We Champion Others
Philippians 2:3-4 NIV
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
- We choose not to see this as a competition, but an opportunity to build each other up.
- We celebrate together in the wins and encourage one another in the losses.
10
We Do Life Together
Galatians 6:2 NIV
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
- We willingly embrace the friendships God has given us, refusing to do life alone.
- We prioritize and invest in our relationships with each other through vulnerability, accountability, and shared experiences.
